嚴爵將在6月28日發行第四張創作專輯，7月小巨蛋演唱會也正如火如荼準備中，沒想到他卻說這張是畢業作！其實是因為他把唱片公司當大學待，從學習當製作人、學習當藝人，到現在已五年，就像大學學程一樣，「新專輯就像是我在「相信大學」的畢業展，所展出的成品。」

大學只不到讀一年的嚴爵，從人人稱羡的名校南加大爵士表演系休學後，來到台灣追逐自己的音樂夢，問起有沒有後悔休學這件事，他完全不用思考說：「沒有後悔過，但有想過若沒有當歌手，應該會是當個爵士樂手，過著無拘無束的生活，到處表演，一下在在紐約表演，或者是在別的地方。」但記者刁難他要他想從事音樂以外的行業時，他想了一下說：「建築師吧！因我喜歡畫畫和算數。」

在新歌「至少我有我」中，嚴爵道出進入演藝圈的得到和失去，20歲離開美國的親朋好友，勇敢追夢，23歲失去了愛情，得到了人生道理。讓他從中學到最多的「相信音樂大學」，他把五月天以及音樂創作者陳沒視為學校老師，教導他對音樂的熱血，對批評的釋懷，都是人生歷程的成長。

而嚴爵為了新專輯及演唱會，目前勤健身練線條，為了回饋和他一起畢業的歌迷，只要在簽票會的場次，憑著應屆畢業的證明，演唱會門票就能打折。
