好萊塢巨星安潔莉娜裘莉之前為了預防乳癌而勇敢切除雙乳。她2日與布萊德彼特在倫敦的電影首映會上亮相。她說手術過後「感覺非常美好」，並且「非常高興看到大眾對此攸關女性健康的議題熱烈討論」。據報導，裘莉之後有可能還會切除卵巢，因為她的家族基因缺陷也有罹患卵巢癌的風險。
