大陸太陽能廠「晶澳太陽能」(JA Solar Holdings Co.)估計，由於美日需求強勁，第2季(4-6月)出貨量將超越預期，並可望在2014年初由虧轉盈。

彭博社和英國金融時報報導，晶澳太陽能的規則發展部門副總裁Bill Chen 6月21日受訪時表示，Q2出貨量有望超過430 MW，高於該公司上月初估的410-430 MW；並預期今年美日的安裝量將大增67%至10 GW。他說市場從去年底逐漸好轉，模組價格已觸底反彈、漸趨穩定。

晶澳太陽能執行長謝健5月底也指出，不認為近期內太陽能板價格將繼續下滑，並表示中國大陸將成為太陽能板的最大買家，估計今年大陸新安裝量將在6-8GW之間。

在此之前，產能過剩、價格崩跌導致晶澳太陽能等廠商去年遭逢虧損，尚德電力(Suntech Power Holdings)旗下的「無錫尚德太陽能電力公司」更在今年3月宣告破產重整。
