全台家數最多？早餐業第一把交椅？　麥味登廣告不實挨罰

連鎖早餐店是不少想要加盟民眾的考量之一，但在選擇加盟店之前可要睜大眼睛慎選。公平交易委員會今（3）日委員會議通過，超秦企業在其所屬「麥味登」品牌連鎖早餐店廣告中所刊登的「全台灣店家數最多、早餐業第一把交椅」，屬廣告不實，因而處新台幣20萬元罰鍰。

公平會表示，超秦公司以在其網站轉載媒體報導「全台灣店家數最多、早餐業第一把交椅『麥味登』」、「店數為台灣連鎖早餐店之冠」等方式，給人的印象好像是「麥味登」早餐店數量規模是全台連鎖早餐店之冠的感覺，但公平會調查發現，超秦在網站刊登的3則報導，並未予查證或檢視其內容是否有與事實不符，也無法提出第三公正單位調查的客觀事證資料予以證明。

而依據財團法人台灣連鎖加盟促進會所出刊的「2012台灣連鎖加盟產業特輯」顯示，至少在101年超秦公司刊登這3則報導時，「麥味登」品牌連鎖早餐店總店數並非第一。

公平會指出，由於事業的經營規模、營運狀況與績效是爭取民眾加盟的重要參考資訊，超秦公司未盡廣告主真實表示的義務，除了容易引致民眾錯誤認知外，且對其他同業造成不公平競爭，已違反公平交易法第21條第1項規定，處新台幣20萬元罰鍰。
