A-Rod放心 光芒不會動私刑

Alex Rodriguez請放心享受這次在聖彼得堡、跟光芒隊的系列賽，不必擔心故意觸身球……，起碼，光芒隊教頭Joe Maddon是這麼說的。

「我不該跳過審判程序、或是擔任執法角色，那不是我的工作，」Maddon教頭說，「我的工作職責是，帶領光芒隊比賽，我們投手的責任是解決對手，而不是執法人員。每個人都該做好本分。」

這些話，聽在A-Rod耳裡，無比窩心。「Maddon教頭相當尊重程序，我很敬重他。能夠單純地打棒球，實在太棒了。」A-Rod說。

洋基隊總教練Joe Girardi，也對Maddon教頭獻上敬意。「每個人都有權表達對A-Rod的意見，我都OK，」Girardi說，「不過，他遵循程序，提出上訴，如果對手要丟他觸身球，我不認為這是對的。」

「即使你不喜歡某個選手的所作所為，也不應該丟觸身球，那太危險了。」

教頭Maddon看重的，更實際一點。上次紅襪隊Ryan Dempster動私刑修理A-Rod，結果被洋基隊大逆轉，令Maddon印象深刻。

「那也許會是洋基隊振衰起敝的一刻，」Maddon說，「世事難料。」

光芒隊強打Evan Longoria也對A-Rod有意見，即使如此，Longoria並不覺得，可以用觸身球砸A-Rod。

「首先，我不希望對方上壘，」Longoria說，「我希望解決對手，所以我不覺得投觸身球是對的。再來，要是對方報復，那隊友也會受傷害。我覺得，上策還是該想辦法解決他。」
