巴西聖多斯港 傳史上最大火警

巴西聖保羅州聖多斯港（Santos）今天發生史上最大火警，Copersucar蔗糖廠4名員工吸入濃煙送醫，幸無大礙。

聖多斯是拉丁美洲最大港口，擁有62個航運站。今天上午6時10分，20號碼頭倉庫航運站貨物輸送系統傳出火警，火勢迅速蔓延至6號、11號、16號及21號倉庫，部分樓宇燒至倒塌。

聖多斯消防局動員25輛消防車、1架直昇機、1艘海上消防船及數艘拖拉船到場搶救，不斷從海上噴火至中午12時才控制住火勢。

除了Copersucar的2座倉庫外，其他倉庫已恢復正常運作。

據Copersucar指出，倉庫容量30萬公噸，巴西生產的蔗糖逾60%從聖多斯港出口，今年元月至8月出口近1280萬公噸，Copersucar占25%比重。

聖保羅港務局將調查評估失火原因並計算損失。
