〔自由時報記者梁偉銘／綜合報導〕倫敦年終男網總決賽，西班牙「蠻牛」納達爾沒受手指意外受傷影響，歷經3盤激戰，終以6：4、1：6、6：3力退捷克悍將伯帝奇，預賽A組3連勝出線。瑞士「二哥」瓦林卡則延續近10個月來好表現，挾6：7 （3：7）、6：4、6：1大逆轉西班牙好手費雷羅，跟著挺進4強。

納達爾已提前安抵準決賽，也確保年終第1頭銜，雖然吃早餐時不慎切傷左手食指，現任世界球王臨場沒受太大影響，連續第16次擊敗伯帝奇，除了穩居分組首席外，連帶把瓦林卡拱進前4，賽後「蠻牛」說：「我是為自己而戰，上場就要贏，更重要的是以我想要的方式完成。」瓦林卡天助自助，2勝1負超越伯帝奇而晉級，「我盡全力發揮，當然也得感謝納達爾贏球。」

B組由志在衛冕的塞爾維亞型男喬科維奇2連勝率先出線，最後1張4強門票，就由瑞士老將費德爾與阿根廷長人波特羅爭奪。
