艾西克挫折 帕森斯盼快振作

自從艾西克(Omer Asik)要求火箭交易他的消息傳出之後，他幾乎被凍在板凳上，日前他的經紀人也表示，艾西克目前苦無上場機會，逐漸失去定位讓他相當挫折，對於他最近低迷不振的樣子，隊友帕森斯(Chandler Parsons)希望他能趕快振作。

「史密斯(Greg Smith)受傷，坎比(Marcus Camby)要開刀，所以他(艾西克)之後一定要擔下很多上場時間，所以我不懂他在難過什麼，他一定要克服這些，表現出一位職業球員該有的樣子。」帕森斯表示。

與艾西克當了一年多的隊友，帕森斯知道艾西克為什麼所苦，「這一定會很挫折，他去年打得很好，但有新隊友取代他的位置，這一定會挫折，但你還是必須要用球員的專業去面對這件事，然後繼續努力。」

外界都能猜到艾西克的心病為何，他在火箭的地位可以說完全被霍華德(Dwight Howard)取代，再加上2人同場搭配不佳，教頭麥克海爾(Kevin McHale)在2選1的情況下，只會讓他坐板凳，瓊斯(Terrence Jones)又在這段時間打出佳績，火箭還需不需要艾西克這個問題，已慢慢浮現。

身為艾西克的隊友又同為競爭者的霍華德表示，他能了解這心情，「完全(了解)，我知道這件事對他來說很艱難，我能做的就是在比賽以外的時間陪他，幫他任何我能幫上忙的地方，我了解現在這狀況對他來說很困難，但我們都是一家人，而且我們必須從挫折中振作起來。」
