30歲的創作歌手宋念宇（小宇）３月入伍服役，讓他決定去當兵，是因病了許久，一度不認得他的父親病情好轉，他終於可以放心履行國民義務。

宋爸在2011年因為腦血管壓迫記憶神經，記憶變得片段，突然問小宇「你是誰」？小宇以為爸爸跟他開玩笑，隨後父親就不認識他了，他也因此陷入低潮，不想寫歌，謝絕任何約會，全心照顧老爸。

去年愛貝克思裁撤華語部，A-Lin解決合約問題後，積極尋覓新東家，小宇覺得「或許該先去當兵」，再三確認爸爸已恢復健康，已有半年不失憶，也認得他，家中經濟負擔也減輕，他把父母交給當廚師的弟弟照顧，當完兵再全力衝刺事業。
