新聞集團6月底分成2公司

（法新社紐約24日電） 梅鐸領導的媒體娛樂集團「新聞集團」今天說，董事會已批准將公司分割為二，自6月28日起生效。

梅鐸（Rupert Murdoch）將同時帶領兩家公司。其中一家重點放在新聞和出版，保留新聞集團（News Corp）的名字；另一家重點則在電視和電影，名稱為21世紀福斯公司（Twenty-First Century Fox）。

梅鐸說：「今天的宣告是為創立2家獨立公司的重大一步，2家公司擁有世界上首要的出版和媒體以及娛樂資產組合。」

梅鐸將擔任21世紀福斯公司的董事長兼執行長，及新的新聞集團的執行董事長。（譯者：中央社羅苑韶）
