黃季敏涉貪遭撤職　退休金已領走

消防署前署長黃季敏因擅自越權，主導放寬「防救災專用衛星通訊系統」採購標準，圖利廠商等案遭監察院彈劾後，公懲會行政調查後認為，黃季敏身為消防署署長兼災防會副執行長，竟濫權違法，獨厚特定廠商，決議懲戒他撤職並停止任用2年的處分。

但因黃季敏早就在圖利案爆發前，辦理退休並領走退休金，所以這項懲戒對黃並無實質影響，至於他被控圖利廠商1200萬元的刑案部分，目前正由台北地院審理中。
