愛蛇人猝死家中　身旁46條蛇盤繞

德國40歲男子里德(Heiko Rieder)因為一個星期沒去上班，同事報警，警方上門調查，驚見他倒斃家中，四周攀滿了巨蛇。

原來里德是個「蛇癡」，家中原本就是蛇窟，養了46條蛇，有森蚺有巨蟒，有些甚至長達9公尺，粗如成人的大腿，非常壯觀。警方估計，里德是在餵蛇時心臟病突發死亡，死因並無可疑。

專家表示，蛇群居然沒有吃掉他的屍體，絕對不是因為對主人的愛，而是因為他體形太大，蛇沒法一口吞下，同時蛇類習慣生吞獵物，對死屍興趣不大。
