上公車後投錢可要回來嗎?

我在草屯手工藝研究所對面6/7 下午大約5:40分左右 我攔到1台公車
哪間公司我不太清楚 我只看到"日月潭" 他跑馬燈上打:南投-中投-埔里
之後我上車邊投零錢 邊跟司機說要去哪 我說:雙冬 司機淡定的說:沒有
(錢已經投入) 司機說這是走國道 我無言了= =也只是自認衰的下車
之後我打電話叫我媽拿錢給我..我媽到了之後說可以要回來.我心想真的假的

請問錢真的可以要回來嗎?? 司機為什麼不主動退呢??
