長榮特產荔枝園 盼辦活動留回憶

【大紀元2013年06月10日訊】（大紀元記者賴友容台灣台南報導）長榮大學荔枝園，每年這個時候便結實纍纍、鮮紅欲滴，吸引師生前往採收，享受在地土產。今年校長陳錦生帶頭採荔枝外，學生把果肉結合鳳梨與冰塊打成水果冰沙，分送師生品嘗；也希望未來有機會舉辦荔枝節活動。

國企系學生葉盈利說，不是每間大學能擁有果園，尤其荔枝是學校特產，也是校園景觀特色之一。師大有西瓜節傳統，以瓜代花，表情達意。他希望長榮利用就地取材的優勢舉辦荔枝節，讓畢業季盛產的荔枝成為長榮人代代共同的記憶。

長榮大學荔枝園歷史比校史還悠久，迄今超過40年，算是資歷很深的老欉，屬於台灣原生種，校方從未噴灑農藥，原生種荔枝甜中帶酸反而甘甜清爽。近年來學生呼朋引伴一起採荔枝，有的爬樹、有的撐竿，深怕手腳不夠快落得望枝興嘆，成為校園另類有趣的景象。◇
