天河二號登頂超級電腦 500 強，運算速度達 33.85 Petaflop

和此前預計的一樣，中國大陸製造的天河二號超級電腦於近日問鼎了世界超級電腦 500 強。據悉這台電腦問世的時間比原定計畫早了不少，它採用了 32,000 顆 Xeon 處理器，同時還配有 48,000 顆 Xeon Phi 加速處理器。其運算速度達到了 33.85 Petaflop，差不多是上一個冠軍 Titan 的兩倍。

在今年進入 500 強榜單的電腦中，有 80% 採用的是 Intel 的處理器，而配有八核心或更多核心的電腦則佔到了 67%。由於時脈方面的發展有些停滯不前，如今超級電腦的開發方向轉向了處理器平行運算、處理。值得一提的是，Top 500 的編輯 Jack Dongarra 稱「天河二號所擁有的功能大部份均由中國大陸自己開發，Intel 產品在其中只負責主要的運算部分」，這就代表現在的榜單中雖然還是以美國電腦為主（500 個名額中佔到了 253 個），但在未來幾年內我們很有可能會看到更多來自中國大陸的超級電腦，其中應該也不乏具備爭奪榜單頭名實力的電腦喔。
