1/4大腸癌患者 發現已第4期

日前屏風表演班創辦人李國修因大腸癌過世，再度引發民眾的關注。醫師表示，台灣有四分之一的腸癌患者，首次診斷已是大腸癌第四期，甚至轉移到肝臟等器官，建議40歲以上成人，應該進行糞便潛血篩檢。

一名53歲婦女，一年前一直拉肚子且有出血，但她誤以為是胃潰瘍引起，半年前到醫院檢查，發現竟是大腸癌末期、還出現肝轉移。

台灣腸癌病友協會理事長、台中榮總大腸直腸科主任王輝明表示，台灣有四分之一的腸癌患者，發現時已經屬於第四期，且腫瘤轉移到肺、肝臟等其他器官。這些轉移性的大腸癌，癌細胞多半「躲」在腸子右邊，因此患者不會覺得肚子痛、等到虛弱、體重減輕、腹瀉，才察覺不對勁。

台安醫院大腸直腸外科專任醫師糠榮誠建議，民眾如果有解便解不乾淨等排便習慣改變，要盡快就醫。

王輝明說，台灣末期的大腸癌患者，從治療到過世，一半以上病人可以存活20個月，五年存活率全台約9%。他強調，標靶藥物日新月異，治療進展不斷有突破，轉移性大腸癌目前健保已給付兩種標靶藥，有些肝轉移的患者，先以藥物縮小腫瘤後，仍有機會進行切除手術，患者絕對不要放棄。

末期腸癌患者多，很多人並未進行篩檢。目前衛生署國民健康局補助50歲以上民眾，每兩年可免費進行一次糞便潛血篩檢，王輝明則建議提前到40歲左右就開始檢查。
