敘涉化武攻擊 美國開國安會

（法新社華盛頓24日電） 敘利亞政府涉嫌動用化學武器，美國總統歐巴馬今天與國家安全幕僚商議因應之道。美國國防部稍早已表示，正為可能的軍事行動預做準備。

敘利亞傳出化武攻擊消息後，無國界醫生組織（Doctors without Borders）表示，他們在敘利亞的3家醫院收到3600名有神經中毒症狀的病人，其中350多人已經喪生。

數字若獲證實，將會是海珊（Saddam Hussein）1980年代在北伊拉克毒害伊朗士兵和庫德叛軍以來，最致命的化學毒害事件。

白宮表示，美國情報圈仍在嘗試判定發生何事，但「很關注數十名目擊者在同一時間提出指控，也很關心死者症狀通報」。

聲明說：「總統（歐巴馬）也已接獲詳細報告，檢視美國有哪些選項，以及國際社會如何因應化學武器之使用。」
