單車環島 靠毛怪撐下去

〔自由時報記者陳筱琳／台北報導〕102年單車環島成年禮北、中、南、東4區學員昨日於台北國軍英雄館大會師，目前僅北區學員完成1000公里環島之旅，其餘3區學員都在旅途中，總統馬英九特地到場頒發啟程印記、完成證書及補給品。

由體育署主辦的環島單車成年禮，希望學員透過騎乘單車，更深入親近、認識台灣，環島途中除路經全台41個火車站外，也安排在地美食品嚐、特色火車站導覽及淨灘公益活動，讓學員學著以更主動積極的心態，愛護珍惜這片土地。

南區學員這次帶著毛怪、黃色小鴨和小小兵3隻布偶吉祥物陪騎，23歲、正攻讀碩士的徐安可表示，3隻吉祥物給他們帶來許多活力，有力氣繼續往前衝，「沿途覺得上坡、下雨很累，很不喜歡在這2種狀況下騎車，特別是下雨時，不敢把吉祥物拿出來淋雨，那時大家士氣都會比較低落點，要是沒有3隻吉祥物，可能就騎不下去了！」
