馬國畢因賭博欠債，婚姻和工作都丟了，日前和朋友一起開了一家活動公關公司，每周三固定在夜總會主持，每月約賺10萬，他無奈地說：「我曾誇口５年還清債務，但10萬連利息都不夠還。」

他現在與父母同住，已退休的老爸又到自助洗衣店工作，媽媽在麻油腰子店幫忙。前妻、女兒則住娘家，他每個月僅能撥出１萬元生活費給她們，前妻對他仍不能諒解，他也無法和女兒見面，「我失去這個權利，但我了解一切都是我自己造成的。」

他說「在農曆７月還是有好事發生」，日前到竹南參拜「青埔夫人」，神明突然降乩，痛罵他一頓，再告訴他「只要你答應不再賭，我就會幫你」，他說：「在所有朋友、鬼神對我避之唯恐不及時，我當下真的很感動！」
