中秋佳節前夕，海巡署第十巡防區在台東地區實施擴大威力掃蕩暨兵力展示，以防杜不法情事。

為了嚴防秋節期間不法人士蠢動，海巡署第第十巡防區連日來統合了第八一和八二岸巡大隊、第十五海巡隊及台東查緝隊等海巡署單位，實施台東地區擴大威力掃蕩暨兵力能量展示，針對勤務不常到達地點、雜樹林、防風林等地點加強搜索；另外對空屋、碉堡、廢工寮等地點加強檢查，以防不法。海巡人員表示，秋節連假期間，民眾如果在岸際發現任何不法，也請隨時撥打服務專線118。
