華府槍擊案 當局認為1人所為

美國華盛頓海軍工廠驚傳重大槍擊案，導致13人死亡、8人受傷，CNN則報導傷者有14人。負責調查的官員16日表示，槍手應是單獨犯案。

華盛頓市長葛瑞(Vincent Gray)表示：「目前並無證據顯示有其他槍手涉案，但我們尚未完全排除這個可能。」

警察局長藍尼爾(Cathy Lanier)在一場簡報會中強調：「我們現在可以確信，當時在基地內的兇嫌僅有一人。但如果調查過程中有任何改變，我們一定會告知社會大眾。」簡報會的幾小時前，當局原本表示有2名嫌犯在逃，呼籲華府民眾在搜索結束前待在室內。

華府警方目前已確認疑似單獨犯案的槍手身分，他是來自德州的亞歷克西(Aaron Alexis)，曾於2007年至2011年間在海軍服役，之後擔任電腦大廠惠普(HP)的安全承包商。

亞歷克西於警方交火時中彈身亡。

另有一名美國國防官員向法新社表示，兇嫌是依規定進入海軍基地。
