【姚瑞宸／綜合報導】陳偉殷2、3局表現漸入佳境，只再被擊出1支安打0失分，金鶯馬卡奇斯(Nick Markakis)在第2局率先安打上壘，皮爾斯(Steve Pearce)攻下第1分，羅伯斯(Brian Roberts) 3局揮出陽春全壘打，為金鶯隊取得2比0領先。

陳偉殷在第2局首打席，偏高的變速球被紅襪隊第6棒納瓦(Daniel Nava)擊出安打後及時回穩，三振第7棒史奈德(Brandon Snyder)，再讓對手擊出內野滾地球。第3局只投12球，就讓紅襪前3棒三上三下，前3局共用48球，其中30顆好球，只被擊出2安打，三振2次，0失分。
