三巨頭合砍69分下，熱火主場以103：93擊敗巫師。

熱火結束2連敗。詹姆斯（LeBron James）25分5次助攻，波許（Chris Bosh）24分7籃板，韋德（Dwyane Wade）20分5籃板5助攻。熱火在籃板上以32：41處於劣勢，但全場助攻達到32次。

巫師的比爾（Bradley Beal）得19分，戈塔特（Marcin Gortat）15分11個籃板，沃爾（John Wall）11分9次助攻。

前兩戰，相繼敗給76人和籃網，熱火已經有緊迫感，「我們過去所獲得的，並不意味著將來也能得到，」詹姆斯說，「所以我們現在必須有緊迫感了。」

雖強調緊迫感，但是面對巫師，熱火還是有些提不起精神，首節熱火以33：27領先，詹姆斯三分球3投3中、得14分。第二節中段，巫師陷入得分困境，熱火趁機拉開差距，上半場，巫師以48：61落後。

熱火進攻並不是特別積極，第三節過半，巫師將比分追成57：69，此後近5分鐘才只投中1球，熱火頻頻外線得手，打出15：4的攻勢，一舉以84：61拉開差距。以87：64領先進入最後一節，打不到5分鐘，巫師回敬一波16：4後，將比分追成80：91。熱火趕緊換上詹姆斯和波許壓陣，熱火以98：82再度拉開差距。剩下4分52秒，熱火未能投中一球，不過仍控制局面，取得最後的勝利。
