4坪房間擠20名賭客　站著也要賭

【潘志偉／新北報導】58歲何姓女子在新北市永和區新生路經營天九牌職業賭場，警方獲報於今天凌晨0時許，前往搜索，一進入賭場竟發現不到5坪的空間內擠滿了20名賭客，因賭場空間狹小連坐的地方都沒有，所有賭客與賭場工作人員都要「站」著，警方共查獲高達230萬元賭金、天九牌、撲克牌等證物。
 
警方調查，賭場隱身一般民宅2樓，管控相當嚴格設有3道門鎖、2支監視器，還有工作人員不定時在外把風，因賭場空間僅有4坪大，何嫌另外承租1樓、3樓作為賭客休息的地方，為讓賭客有賓至如歸的感覺，休息處免費提供茶水、飲料、檳榔、菸等物品，如果太累還可以直接住在休息室。警方共逮捕何嫌及2名員工，訊後依賭博罪嫌將3人移送法辦，20名賭客則依社會秩序法裁罰。
