【黃彥傑／台北報導】台北市消防局大同分隊原消防廳舍，於1999年921地震結構受損經判定為危樓，為保護大同區市民安全及周遭古蹟資產，經各界地方士紳努力及市府長官支持，委託工務局發包原址重建，歷經3年興建完工，使得大同地區救災、救護及為民服務更加完備。

消防隊新大樓除獲得綠建築外，已10多年未使用的「出勤滑桿」則重出江湖。警消使用滑桿可節省約20秒出勤時間，可為市民生命財產提供更迅速的保障。消防局長也在現場小試身手，靈活度不輸現場同仁。
