蟲毒搶水果攤遭緝　竟燒炭自殺

【蔡智銘／台中報導】台中市太平區新平路一處水果攤昨天下午遭搶，警方根據搶匪掉落的皮包，查出設籍南投市的45歲林姓男子涉有重嫌，立即前往家中逮人，但嫌犯已先一步「落跑」，不料今天上午傳來林嫌在草屯工藝研究發展中心停車場燒炭自殺的消息，連警方也感到錯愕。
 
太平警分局偵查隊表示，死者留有遺書，內容提到自己有吸毒惡習，以及對不起家人等遺言，但沒有提到死前犯下的搶案，應該和被警追緝無關，雖然嫌犯已經身亡，但依法還是將全案移送地檢署偵辦。
