歐巴馬提名財政部副手 路傑克讚揚

白宮31日表示，美國總統歐巴馬已要求美國聯邦準備理事會(Fed)理事拉斯金(Sarah Bloom Raskin)，出任財政部副部長。一旦提名獲得參議院通過，拉斯金將成為財政部史上職位最高的女性。

白宮指出，歐巴馬提名拉斯金接替沃林(Neal Wolin)的職位。沃林已宣布，他計劃在8月底卸任。

在2010年歐巴馬政府致力讓國會通過一項全面性的金融監管體制改革時，沃林是扮演重要的關鍵角色。

而52歲的拉斯金先前曾在馬里蘭州政府擔任金融主管，自2010年10月起出任聯準會理事。一般認為，她將把金融管理經驗帶進財政部，與專長預算的部長路傑克(Jacob Lew)互相截長補短。

路傑克已發表聲明，對拉斯金在銀行及金融監管理事務的高度了解、以及對消費者的保護深表讚揚。

在參議院考慮拉斯金的任命案之際，拉斯金預料仍將繼續擔任在聯準會的工作。
