琼 ㄑㄩㄥˊ  (瓊)

釋義

一種美玉。廣韻．平聲．清韻：「瓊，玉名。」詩經．衛風．木瓜：「投我以木瓜，報之以瓊琚。」毛亨．傳：「瓊，玉之美者。」骰子。後漢書．卷三十四．梁統傳「六博」句下章懷太子．注引鮑宏博經曰：「用十二棋，六棋白，六棋黑。所擲頭謂之瓊。」

   美好的、精美的。如：「瓊漿」、「瓊樓玉宇」。紅樓夢．第三十五回：「只因那寶玉聞得傅試有個妹子，名喚傅秋芳，也是個瓊閏秀玉。」
