公園也是防災點 北市消防局辦宣導

為提升民眾防震防災觀念和應變能力，台北市消防局和士林區公所今天聯合舉辦防災公園宣導活動，讓居民了解公園也是避難所。

消防局說，民國88年九二一大地震發生後，北市府除採取積極防災對策外，並開始規劃防災公園，在北市每一個行政區內選1處具有開放空間大型避難場所，建立具維生功能的全方位防災公園。

消防局表示，公園平時可做為民眾休憩、運動重要場所，一旦發生重大災變時，則成為避難安置、指揮調度據點，以確保民眾生命財產安全。

消防局指出，台灣位處環太平洋地震帶上，地震活動相當頻繁。消防局呼籲，希望民眾家裡平時準備「緊急避難包」，並放置隨手可拿到的地方，地震發生務必保持冷靜，尤其注意上方掉落物。

消防局說，如地震劇烈搖晃時，應先躲在堅固桌子下方或主要柱子旁，並謹記「蹲下」、「掩護」和「穩住」三口訣，以爭取更多應變及避難逃生時間。
