請問NP至中華並使用學生專案一定要購機嗎?

各位好，請幫小弟解惑。
目前小弟台灣30月已到，想NP至中華並使用學生專案。
目前詢問過NP一樣可以辦理學生專案，但都需要搭手機。
因為小弟的手機是NOTE2，使用不到一年，狀況也良好，所以並不打算換機。
但是小弟詢問過中華電信，都說一定要搭機子或筆電或平板，反正就是一定要搭配東西。
所以請問各位大大，小弟NP過去中華的狀況，能不購機嗎? 單純只NP使用學專方案嗎?
