首架P-3C反潛機近期返台

【陳培煌／台北報導】國軍向美國購買的12架P-3C反潛機，首架計畫在本月23日或24日返台。軍方官員透露，飛機抵達屏東基地落地後才算交機，因此從美國飛往中繼站關島整補後，再飛到台灣，全程都由美方駕駛，以避免中途發生問題，責任難以釐清，我方赴美機組人員則在機上隨同返台。

天兔颱風來襲，是否影響交機？官員表示，美方密切觀察颱風動態，不過颱風過後影響就不大。飛機將先由美國西岸飛到東岸，再飛往中繼站關島進行整補，待飛機抬頭後，屆時美方才會通知我方。從關島飛到台灣約13小時，加上之前在美國本土飛行時間，預計在本月23日或24日就可能返台。P-3C反潛機軍購案高達台幣530餘億元。

P-3C屬長程反潛巡邏機，除對海面上船艦的監控外，也針對海中的潛水艇進行偵測。因此，機上配備精準武器包括空射型魚叉反艦飛彈、紅外線導引的小牛飛彈，使P-3C擁有對海、對地的攻擊能力。
