馬英九總統上午出席前考試院長孔德成逝世5周年紀念會，警方並沒有出動「攔鞋網」，不過在室內演講時，特勤人員高度警戒。有媒體報導馬總統親自下令警方撤除「攔鞋網」，總統府發言人李佳霏上午澄清「沒有下令的問題」，不管總統喜歡與否，總統的維安一切尊重相關單位的專業判斷。
