葉倫：美國失業率仍太高

美國聯邦準備理事會(Fed)主席提名人葉倫(Janet Yellen)13日指出，美國目前7.3%的失業率仍然太高，反映出經濟運作情況仍不及應有潛力。

美國參議院銀行委員會將在14日舉行葉倫任命案的聽証會。在葉倫準備好的證詞中顯示，葉倫支持聯準會維持寬鬆政策，直到美國經濟強力復甦為止。

葉倫也重申聯準會決策者的立場，即美國目前的通貨膨脹率仍低，對經濟不構成威脅。

葉倫說，美國經濟強勁復甦將使聯準會降低貨幣融通以及對非傳統政策工具、如資產購置的依賴。
