H7N9新突變，投藥後不會減弱傳染能力

據英國科學家發現，中國大陸的H7N9禽流感病毒發展出一種新的突變株，這種病毒株能夠在抗拒第一線藥物 (例如克流感)的同時，並不會限制病毒對哺乳類動物傳染的能力。一般季節性的流感病毒株在對抗克流感等藥物時，傳染能力會下降，但這種新病毒株的傳染能力卻不會有任何損失。

雖然這並不表示H7N9流感病毒會更可能演變成人傳人的傳染病，但專家表示醫師在治療HN9型流感時，用藥需更為慎重，並考慮採用其他藥品。
