洛杉磯快艇最近面臨客場7連戰，15日終於來到「終點站」華盛頓巫師，靠著主控Chris Paul狂轟38分，快艇113：97帶走勝利，7連戰取得4勝，勉強交差。

賽前，Paul與隊友Blake Griffin一致認為此役「非贏不可」，因為他們把它當成系列賽「第7戰」殊死戰看待。

「如果這場贏下來，這趟客場之旅就算是OK了。」Paul賽後表示：「我們受了點傷，但還得飛很長一段距離才能回家。」

「對我們來說，這真的很像是季後賽第7戰，還在客場，第7戰就是一定要贏的比賽，我認為我們表現很好。」攻下16分、9籃板的Griffin說。

Paul今天繳出38分、12助攻、命中率78.6%，近40個球季以來，只有1位球員曾經締造比他這3項數據更棒的成績，那是1990年的「滑翔機」Clyde Drexler。

本季，Paul已經完成7次單場至少「20分、10助攻」，全聯盟最多，他今年平均每場18.9分、11.4助攻。

靠著「船長」發威，快艇輕鬆踢館成功，近4戰取得3勝，站穩西區太平洋組龍頭。
