總統：貿易自由化 帶來貿易量增長成果

馬總統今天上午在府內接見中美洲友邦尼加拉瓜外長(桑多士)，總統表示，我國和尼加拉瓜簽署自由貿易協定，雙邊貿易創下新高，我國也成為尼國在亞洲的最大出口市場，這就是貿易自由化後的成果。

總統表示，我國和尼加拉瓜簽署自由貿易協定，生效至今五年，去年雙邊貿易額達到一億美元，是兩國自1990年復交來最高『每一年的成長都11.6%，使得我們中華民國成為尼加拉瓜在亞洲最大的市場，也是尼國全球第10大出口市場，所以我們現在在台灣能夠吃到來自貴國，鮮嫩多汁的牛肉，還有香味四溢的咖啡，這一點都是雙方在貿易自由化之後得到的成果！』

總統也表示，我國和尼加拉瓜恢復邦交後，推動各項合作計畫，尤其在資通訊方面的技術合作，具有重要的防災和國土計畫方面的意義，例如運用地理資訊系統加強尼國的環境永續計畫；我國提供尼國衛星影像圖資，以建立天然災害監測系統，減少天然災害對尼國造成的傷害。
