謝淑薇溫布頓雙冠　綠委：政府應鼓勵企業認養選手

【蘇聖怡／台北報導】台灣網球選手謝淑薇勇奪溫布頓網球賽女雙冠軍。民進黨立委李應元新聞稿指出，「馬政府急發賀電沾光時，應自省為運動員做了什麼？」李認為，台灣應及早建立制度性的栽培運動員，日後才會有更多的謝淑薇們為國爭光。

李應元指出，謝淑薇雖從小就展露極佳的網球天賦，父母卻為了籌措訓練及比賽經費，一度窮到借卡債、沒錢付房租，即使現在得到多項國際大獎，仍需擔心下一場比賽的盤纏，對照馬總統發賀電沾光，實在諷刺。李建議，政府應鼓勵企業認養有潛力的運動員，並給予企業租稅上的優惠；觀光局應優先以獲得國際賽事大獎的選手做為觀光大使，可同時達到觀光代言與獎勵選手的多重目的。
