【綜合報導】依中央氣象局資料，彰化市今天清晨時雨量超過40mm達停班停課標準，彰化市公所向縣政府人事請示同意彰化市停班停課。 彰化市長邱建富於7時30分宣布彰化市停班停課，8時15分才通知媒體，學生到學校才知道停班課，許多家長上班後，又轉往學校接孩子，造成不少怨言。

網友在市長邱建富的臉書上痛批，「孩子都送到學校了，現在才宣布會不會太晚。」、「要老百姓在風雨中來去，很危險呢!」
