迎接中秋節的到來，中央大學將於9月19日晚間開放科學一館60公分口徑望遠鏡，並於戶外草坪架設8公分和20公分的小型望遠鏡供民眾賞月。中央大學表示，這次天文台的開放，特別感謝台達電子創辦人暨榮譽董事長鄭崇華慷慨捐助，讓已有32年歷史的科一館天文台得以重建，以嶄新的面貌與民眾見面，再次發揮教育與推廣功能。
