高鐵今天起漲價，有民眾反映漲價同時，也應提升服務品質。

高鐵今天起調漲，台北到高雄從來回貴280元，一家四口南下出遊就要多付1120元，台灣高鐵公司統計，漲價第一周，享有折扣優惠早鳥預購比率，反而提高三成。

高鐵營運以來首次調漲票價，為了降低衝擊，台灣高鐵公司擴大優惠方案，早鳥優惠每周790班，優惠座位數比漲價前增加一倍，且有74班次提供全車對號座65折優惠，但必須於列車出發前28天到8天購票。另外，也新增60歲到64歲的「熟年優惠」，搭乘指定時間的車次可享75折。

高鐵公司統計，票價調漲後第一周 （10月8日至14日）的預售車票，共賣出15萬多張，較漲價前一周（ 10月1日到10月7日）增加三分之一，其中早鳥預購比率也增加三成。高鐵公司發現，民眾提早購票的比率增加，建議民眾可提早規畫行程，用比較低的優惠價格搭高鐵。

高鐵票價調漲議題引發各界關切，交通部長葉匡時說，會持續與高鐵公司溝通。他表示，高鐵公司已了解民眾的期待，高鐵臨時董事會應會有所回應，包括擴大優惠、降價等都是可以評估的方向。
