光芒榨乾9投手 仍輸給紅襪

無路可退的光芒隊，牛棚「梭哈」！全場動用9位投手，寫下季後賽9局紀錄。連王牌投手David Price，比賽後段都已熱身，以備不時之需。然而，這樣的車輪戰，中間一個環節出狀況，可能就全盤皆輸。

「從比賽前半段來看，我知道後面可能會出狀況，得準備應變措施。」光芒隊總教練Joe Maddon說，「不過，真正出狀況的時候，只有走一步算一步。」

光芒隊先發投手Jeremy Hellickson，第一局三上三下，但第二局連投8壞球、保送David Ortiz、Mike Napoli後，又被Daniel Nava敲安打，紅襪隊攻佔滿壘。Maddon教頭喊暫停，當機立斷把Hellickson換下去。

接手的Jamey Wright守住滿壘危機，幫助Hellickson安全下莊，締造自1903年以來第7次，季後賽先發投手只解決不到4人、沒失分，就被換下場。

光芒隊的車輪從Hellickson、Wright，轉過Matt Moore、Alex Torres，終於在第7局出軌。Jake McGee投出保送、再被敲安打，紅襪隊攻佔一三壘。光芒隊換投Joel Peralta，但第一球就暴投，紅襪追平，Shane Victorino再擊出內野安打，打下超前分。短短3分鐘，豬羊變色。

「紅襪隊沒犯錯，可以看到他們的韌性，」Maddon教頭說，「另一方面，我想子弟兵們也一樣強悍，只是打不到對方投手的球而已。」

打不到球，光芒隊只能明年再來。「輸球的痛，會在季後慢慢消去，但我會拿這來激勵自己，明年加倍奉還，」光芒隊投手Alex Cobb說，「我會記住這感覺，並不再讓它再發生。」
