最強颱風襲關東　釀16死51失蹤

【陳怡妏／綜合報導】關東近10年最強颱風「薇帕」昨掃過日本東京，導致陸海空交通亂成一團，凌晨豪雨在離島伊豆大島引發土石流，掩埋283棟民宅，至少16死51失蹤。

薇帕颱風中心雖未登陸日本，但颱風從海上帶來的暖濕空氣，碰上北方的冷空氣，使得東京以南120公里外的伊豆大島前晚開始下大雨，最高紀錄是1小時下了122.5毫米，創觀測史新高。颱風也在靜岡縣等地造成至少43人受傷。東京羽田及成田機場昨共取消逾400航班，大多為國內線，估計影響逾6.1萬旅客。

由於日本沒有颱風假制度，東京民眾昨頂著強風出門上班，部分新幹線、電車和渡輪停開，上班族和學生在車站前大排長龍。
