我援救災物資今抵帛琉

我國海軍軍艦歷經5天航行，18日上午8時許將援助帛琉海燕風災物資，包括第一批44間組合屋、1萬6800公斤白米、1000箱泡麵及30組600加侖不銹鋼水塔，運抵帛琉瑪拉卡 (Malakal)港。

帛琉雷蒙傑索總統 (Tommy E. Remengesau. Jr.)上午親自蒞臨港口主持歡迎及物資交接儀式，出席人員包括該國國務部長、我海軍支隊長、艦長、駐帛琉大使館人員、紅十字總會技術團隊。

雷蒙傑索總統在歡迎儀式中，特別感謝我國政府與人民提供本次賑濟援助，也對中華民國紅十字會的行動效率表示感佩。雷蒙傑索日前也特別致函我紅十字總會，代表帛琉人民特別是災區Kayangel州民眾，對紅會表達誠摯感謝。他相信經由這批組合屋建起的家，將能帶給災民復原過程中，正面積極的力量。
