美國化學外洩 30萬人禁用水

（路透芝加哥9日電）美國西維吉尼亞州化學物質外洩造成河流汙染，當局宣布禁用自來水，影響多達30萬人，酒吧和餐廳也得關門，居民在商店排隊買瓶裝水。

西維吉尼亞州首府和最大城查爾斯頓（Charleston）艾克河（Elk River）河岸發生4-基環己烷甲醇（4-Methylcyclohexane Methanol）外洩事件，州長湯布林（Earl Ray Tomblin）宣布9個郡進入緊急狀態。4-基環己烷甲醇是煤礦業所使用的化學物質。 衛生官員建議，居民只能拿自來水沖馬桶和滅火。 湯布林聲明指出：「呼籲西維吉尼亞州受影響地區的民眾，不要飲用自來水，或用自來水烹煮食物、清洗東西或洗澡。」 當地媒體照片顯示，居民在多家商店排隊買瓶裝水，商店貨架被一掃而空。 卡納瓦－查爾斯頓（Kanawha-Charleston）和浦特南郡（Putnam County）衛生局官員古普塔（RahulGupta）要求，所有接收西維吉尼亞州美國自來水公司的餐廳、刺青店和學校暫時關閉。 州長發言人表示，不清楚自來水禁用令何時會解除。中央社（翻譯）
