總統：同與美國中國大陸維持友好

馬英九總統11日在總統府接見澳洲前外長唐納時指出，台灣與澳洲的外交政策相仿，均認為毋須在美國或中國大陸間作選擇，而是採取同時與美國及中國大陸維持友好關係的立場，例如他上任後即積極推動「兩岸和解」及「活路外交」政策，除有效改善兩岸關係、獲致具體成果，同時也已成功擴展國際關係。
