西子灣擱淺海豚 是糙齒海豚

前天在高雄西子灣擱淺的海豚被誤認為稀有的中華白海豚，經成大海洋生物及鯨豚研究中心帶回搶救、鑑定，確認是糙齒海豚。

「這兩種海豚特徵差很多，不過，這隻糙齒海豚膚色有點泛紅，嘴巴一樣有點尖尖的。」成大鯨豚中心主任王建平說，糙齒海豚也不是很常見，若稍不注意很容易誤認。

王建平說，中華白海豚主要棲息在中部海域，也曾在台南出現過，但未曾有跑到高雄的紀錄。

研究助理吳佩穎說，這隻糙齒海豚是一隻年紀已大的公海豚，志工為牠取名為「阿公」，牠目前在成大鯨豚研究中心的復健池救治中，可以自行漂浮，但仍需志工廿四小時保定、照顧。
