美共和黨眾議員：政府不會停擺

美國眾院舉足輕重的共和黨籍議員賽循斯今天說，他認為，聯邦政府機構不致於在今天午夜停擺；但他未詳細說明，此事如何避免。

賽循斯（Pete Sessions）是眾院權力龐大的程序委員會主席，他說，「我想，我們不會讓政府關門，我們會做正確的事」。

他並說：「事情還在進行中。」

賽循斯是在步入眾院共和黨閉門會議的會場前，向記者發表這番談話。
