政府關門、債務危機未除。但是葉連獲歐巴馬提名聯準會主席，振奮股市，道瓊和S&P 500指數收紅，解除賣壓。

道瓊工業平均指數小漲 26.45 點至 14802.00，漲幅0.18%。

Nasdaq 指數下跌 17.06 點至 3677.78，跌幅0.46% 。

S&P 500 指數揚升 0.95 點至 1656.40，漲幅0.06% 。

費城半導體指數挫低 1.71 點至 485.11，跌幅0.35% 。

歐洲股市

英國倫敦FTSE100金融時報指數下跌27點，收在6337點。

德國法蘭克福DAX指數下跌39點，成為8516點。

法國證券商公會CAC 40指數下跌6點，來到4147點。

俄羅斯股市RTS指數下跌10點，成為1461點。

巴西股市Bovespa指數上漲235點，收在52547點。
