霍夫曼越洋表達　小鴨一定要下水

【黎百代／桃園報導】桃園地景藝術節策展單位蔚龍藝術公司總經理王玉齡表示，桃園小鴨破損後第一時間就打電話給返回荷蘭的霍夫曼，霍夫曼在電話中也表達工作人員不要沮喪，也同意讓小鴨在岸上測議，王玉齡強調，昨清晨完成小鴨陸上充氣後，就立即和霍夫曼連絡，她轉述霍夫曼的說法，讓小鴨上岸不是「展示」而是「測試」，因為高雄小鴨當初製作時，沒有針對新屋的強風作加強，所以以勉為其難讓策展單位在陸上測試，但為了維持展出黃色小鴨一定要在水中的理念，他堅持黃色小鴨一定要下水在陂塘中展示，希望外界不要誤解。
