針對進口棉籽事件，大成長城發出聲明稿表示，自今年1至10月由美澳地區進口全棉籽（Whole cotton seed）357. 93噸，均未經加工，添加於反芻牛羊飼料中，以利牛羊反芻，增進牛羊瘤胃健康，絕無其他用途，全棉籽添加於牛羊飼料是世界普遍作法，請國人安心。
